They took me, or they think they did, for 90.00 activating my roku. How are getting by with this?

I have also been a victim of the Roku scam to the amount of $100. Being as electronically challenged as I am, it was easy to be mislead. These scammers are using your company's name and Roku to bilk consumers out of a lot of money. My credit card was billed under Hern IT LLC.

They are truly scammers and took me for $80. Their number popped up to call after I purchased my Roku. When I called, the rep I explained that we cannot have more than one Roku account and it costs to activate a second. Of course we thought this was weird, but we just wanted to activate our brand new 65 inch! Additionally, their number popped across our screen. I called a day later because it just didn’t sit right with me, researched the internet and saw all the bad reviews. When I called the number, the same rep with a heavy accent, asked was I stupid and I was not getting a refund. Lies you tell - my credit card company refunded me every dime and I have reported you and your DocuSign. Lastly, can I point out, the five star ratings from the other reviews on this site ALL have foreign names?!?! SMH. Stop posting fake reviews HernIt.

These people are nothing but a scam. They say that they are associated with Roku Streaming and they are not. They took me for $100. This company has a fake website for Roku and they say that they are here to help with technical support. They stated that Roku had deleted all account history and to be able to restart my account I would have to sign a document for payment before I could get my Roku starting to work. Come to find out after doing a little research and getting a hold of the actual company of Roku that these people are not affiliated with their company. They're scamming people out of money.

These people ripped me off of $100.00. They somehow intercept your ROKU log in when you access the internet initially with your new tv. They told me I had to agree to the one hundred dollar charge or my TV would not work on the net. They are thieves. I warned ROKU about it but do not know when their investigation revealed if they did anything to follow up. I suppose the people that give them such high marks don't mind having their wallets cleaned out.
