It has been an honor for Candlelighters of Brevard (COB), a non-profit organization serving children with pediatric cancer, to work with Rock Paper Simple (RPS) in creating our organizational website and app. In collaboration with Rock Paper Simple, our website provides interactive engagement, safer donor giving, involvement opportunities and allows COB to authentically share our stories of light, hope and compassion. Candlelighters was humbled to be one of the first non-profits in the county to have an app created for our clients by RPS. The app has been groundbreaking in providing our clients with life critical resources remotely from their hospitals, homes and treatment centers. The app streamlined our onboarding process from two weeks to less than one hour. From social media rebranding; to ensuring the website is handicap accessible; and the creation of a life changing app for clients - RPS has provided Candlelighters with exceptional platforms and services that have been transformational for our organizational mission. Since 2019, I have had the opportunity as Executive Director of Candlelighters to work directly with Josh Adams as head honcho of Rock Paper Simple. We have worked together professionally through our businesses but also on other community projects, boards and initiatives. Josh has served as an informal mentor to me - personally and professionally - and I am a stronger leader because of his wisdom, servant leadership, business acumen and emotional intelligence.
