Cape Coral Code Enforcement personnel are, in my experience, dastardly, cruel, deceitful, condescending, disrespectful, lacking in integrity and lacking in humanity. Per shocking personal experience I am compelled to regard the department as an anarchic, criminal enterprise which has ruined the jurisdiction for myself and my family who will now sell our home of 15 years here as our peace and tranquility in it have been destroyed by the _completely unaccountable_ and out of control Code Enforcement devils of the Cape.

Cape Coral Code Enforcement NEVER returns phone calls! Initially, I just wanted to speak to someone to find out if my neighbors were actually violating any codes. I called 3 times and left a message each time. None of my calls were returned. I then filed a complaint about the PILES of debris and old, rained on furniture in my neighbor's driveway and yard. It has been there for more than 6 months. I checked the status of my complaint about a week later and my complaint had been 'closed'. The neighbor was not required to pick up or remove any of the trash. If anything . . . the problem has gotten much worse. What does code enforcement 'do' exactly???

The officer was rude rude rude. And so are my ptsd neighbors for Pete's sake our neighbors wouldn't even let the roofing company use nail guns for there roof. They were told to use hammers. Enough said. Code needs to step up and start telling all our petty neighbors to mind there own business.

The code officers are terrible! They don’t fix problems . The attitude’s are terrible! They don’t work at night or early in the am or the evenings . They are lazy POS ! Super rude , they don’t care Your job is easy … let’s handle situations correctly. Clearly code needs a reality check bc you guys have terrible stars and will continue to receive bad review until things are changed . Let’s start with listening to your community that you serve ALL THEY DO IS SIT IN THE MEDIANS THIS IS THE 3rd one today doing nothing except sitting on there phones
