    This research examines the influence that online reviews have in the purchase of local business services. The findings highlight the differences between different types of local business and how ‘online reputation’ effects certain businesses more than others. The findings also point to the volume of online reviews a local business needs to have in order to generate ‘trust’ among potential, new customers.
