The company was started on July 7th of 1997 in a bedroom as a way to make extra money. By the Spring of 1998 it became a full time job and has since gone on to become a client focused Boston area web design & WordPress development house that gives you what you need to create a new site, or to enhance your current site to a level that pleases your customers aestetically, while it serves the Search Engines to their fullest potential. We have customers of today that are still with us from as far back as 2000. From Boston's Largest Caterer (2000), to a company that created a Jack Daniels robot (2003), to a This Old House contractor (2010), to brand new and unique kinds of customers since. Tech centers, artists, wedding venues, construction contractors, musicians, eCommerce sites, BWD has done it all, and from an early part of the internet's creation.

We had lots of problems with web design company originally designed but did not finish our company website , so I was looking for a Word Press web designer to finish and upload new website. I found Boston Web Design online and up to now never met Glen in person. I am not an easy customer in terms of getting perfect web page design, meticulously paying attention to details. To my big surprise it was easy to work with him over the phone. He quickly understand the problem and fix it. I have a very good confident feeling that he knows what to do in case of unexpected problem ( webserver, etc.... ) and can rely on his expert knowledge and support. Highly recommend.

I love our new website! If you’re looking for a web designer, Glen is the person for you. He is such a great person to work with he’s creative, knowledgeable and patient. He goes above and beyond in so many ways, he even helped me find someone to perfect our logo. He took the time to explain everything to me. He never got annoyed with the many questions I had and I never felt rushed. Glen always took as much time as I needed to feel comfortable with the process of learning how to navigate around our new website. Glen is very creative, he wowed me every time a new page was up and running. He truly cares about your website and having it look its best. I’m so glad I found him!

It was so easy to work with Glen on this project. He was always available by phone or email. His technical knowledge was outstanding and saved me a lot of time and aggravations during the design and implementation of my web site. He was very meticulous and always took in considerations my ideas for the web site. He was patient, open to suggestions and very considerate. He delivered the web site in a timely fashion. The whole process was delightful! I am very very pleased with the results.
