We were extremely disappointed. We made a special point of stopping here during our visit to Hattiesburg. Unfortunately the cookies were very dry and hard. The bread was also very dry. It was just after lunch so I would have expected things to taste fresh and not dry. I gave them 2 stars because the employee who helped us was very friendly.

We turned around in Hattiesburg, MS to go back to this delightful and delicious bread store. It does not disappoint! Yummy and delicious!

I came here to pick up a King Cake for my mother. She said it was the worst King Cake she ever had. It tasted so dry, she actually threw away the cake. She never throws away food. I'm sure that this establishment sells delicious baked items, but that Peasant Cake was not a good first impression for either of us and is not one of those items.
