I have three kids at RASA and I am consistently impressed. My expectations are far exceeded time and time again.

We have had nothing but great experiences at RASA since our child began there 5 years ago. Having tried other private and public schools in town, RASA has been by far the best. The level of attention provided to each student by the staff and administration is unparalleled. With small class sizes and access to enrichments for gifted students and interventions for students who need extra help, the children feel calm and supported. The atmosphere throughout the school has remained one of joyful learning and productivity--throughout the pandemic. The curriculum encourages character traits and skills that will be most needed in tomorrow's world: critical thinking, caring, communication, and problem-solving--both interpersonally and academically. The children form tight-knit friendships, and bullying is virtually non-existent. RASA is the only school in town we have found that provides 30 minutes of daily recess (as opposed to only 20 minutes daily at the public schools) and 30 minutes of daily outdoor physical education (as opposed to only 30 minutes 2 out of every 6 school days in the public schools). It is also one of the only schools teaching a second language in the primary grades--when it is easiest for children to learn languages. It is the only school in Rochester offering daily instruction in both Spanish and French. The music program is outstanding. The after-school clubs and care are excellent. Our child loves RASA. He is there from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM each day, and would stay longer if he could. Our family is so thrilled to see that RASA is now expanding into Middle School!

We have enjoyed having our children at RASA for several years now. It is a wonderful educational community where our children our supported and academically challenged. The teachers and staff have worked so hard to create a small school culture and really care about our children's development. Highly recommend!

My youngest son attended RASA from Kindergarten to 5th grade, and wishes that RASA had Middle School. It is a small school, and students come first. There is not a full time secretary answering phones like some schools. That was never a problem for us, because we WANT the focus to be the kids. This is the most caring and nurturing school we have been to in Rochester. I wish I would have known of it before my oldest started school. They strive to meet each child at their level. Children are greeted on arrival by the awesome teachers. The principal takes time to interact with students daily. LOVE LOVE LOVE
