Update Feb 2021 JM reached out to me and 100% acknowledged that they had mismanaged our account. The owner assured me that they had realized they were falling short, then tried to remedy that by hiring more and better staff, and had also changed their strategy and approach to managing digital advertising accounts. The owner then asked me what he and his team could do to make it up to me and my brand. I suggested they offer me free account management for a period of time, to do with the account what should have been accomplished the first time around when we were a paying customer, and he quickly agreed that was fair. Since starting to work with them again, it is a total 180 from what I experienced before. Ted, a newer member of the account management team, has been wonderful about communicating and following up with me. He is very smart about Google Ads, and has great insight and suggestions. They have also greatly improved their reporting and take the time to go over the account performance by reviewing their report with me via Zoom every month. I have seen positive changes in the account based on their work, and now am able to actually see and understand what work is being done to optimize it. I can confidently say that my opinion of the work they do for their customers has changed based on the internal improvements Jonathan and team have made. Both Jonathan and Ted have thanked me multiple times for allowing them to make up for falling short before, and I am treated like a paying client even though we are doing a free makegood service right now. More businesses need to be like JM, by realizing and admitting when they have made a mistake, and taking steps like these to make it up to paying customers who have had negative experiences. Based on my more recent experience, I am updating my review from 1 star to 5 stars at this time. Original Review - Oct 2020 It’s impossible to understate how neglected and mismanaged our account was for a whole year, or to overstate how utterly disappointed we were in JM’s performance. We hired this company to build a pay-per-click Google account, and they did an awful job. We wasted thousands of dollars in a 1-year contract, and they did little to nothing to understand our business or do the necessary research to set up the proper keywords. They completely overstated their abilities and delivered almost nothing when all was said and done. I can’t imagine someone reviewed our account even once a month. We just got auto-emailed computer-generated reports that were not helpful at all. The team blamed it on our industry, but our national competition is managing to use Google ads very successfully. If they can, we can. They were unresponsive and did not live up to their promises or our expectations. Maybe our monthly spend wasn’t a “lot” to them so they just didn’t feel like they should prioritize our account, but it was a lot to a small, local business over the course of 12 months. We felt cheated and robbed, and could not wait to sever ties ASAP to stop wasting our money on nothing. Beware - they promise a lot, and deliver the bare minimum.

We moved to JM Online just a month or so ago after having so many issues with the last company we had. They are fantastic. They had us transferred in just a few days and all the issues that I have been dealing with for months fixed in less than two weeks. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for Website support I wish I would have done this years ago. I feel very secure now with any issues that come up.
