Mess is an independent web design and development agency located in Chicago. We work with client partners in all categories, from e-commerce startups to established financial services companies. We offer branding, marketing, and bespoke web development with budgets from $25k and up. Most agencies focus on design or development, but we have always taken a more holistic approach to product development. Our two co-founders are our digital and creative directors, and they've infused Mess with a philosophy of cooperation. Our developers have an aesthetic sophistication that is rare for coders, and our designers are experienced with front-end development. No project exists in a vacuum, and since we work well together, we work well with others. We won't design something your developers can't code, and we won't code something that doesn't make you look your best. Since Mess is a boutique agency, we are well aware that budgets are always constrained. We run a lean shop which means you manage costs because we don't have to support a huge account staff. You get what you pay for every time, and we will always be honest if there's a way to do something more efficiently. As a boutique agency, we're more interested in working on projects that interest us and meeting cool people.
