Rise Online Marketing

This company is a scam! Beware. Benjamin uses the name "Rise" because it is wildly similiar to another marketing company called Rise that actually does good work. I was scammed by Ben last month when I hired him to run Google ads (his recommendation). I quickly realized that he was doing NOTHING and I mean nothing! The next month, he conveniently sent me a lovely update on all of his progress the same day he invoiced me for the next month. Once I okayed the next month, within a day he conveniently got "covid" that he says was brutal even though he contacted me 3 days later saying that he launched all of these campaigns. When I asked to see these campaigns, he went radio silent but took my money. I demanded a refund never to hear from him again! I now want people to beware as I am contacting the attorney General, BBB and have my card investigating his last fraudulent charge.

Great experience with our Shopify store & marketing! Worked very closely with us to make sure everything was on par with what we needed while being on a tight budget. Very accessible when needed, which is always refreshing in these times where customer service is a forgotten point of business.

Over promising & under delivering is the best way to describe RISE. Great communication on the front end, assurances they could handle our website migration to Shopify- a week after missing their deadline, they informed me I needed to pay a 3rd party to handle the migration Ben assured me he could handle. Ironically, Bethanie was honest throughout the entire process telling me it was over their head. Ben assured me the opposite, promising they were putting all efforts and resources into the job. I'm extremely understanding, and if Ben had been up front from the start, there wouldn't have been as issue. After finally admitting they couldn't handle the migration, Ben offered to deduct the cost of the third party from the overall cost. When I checked the website time stamps, no one had worked on the project in 6 days, and it took over a week after for anyone from RISE to even realize I removed their access. Pretty unbelievable that not only did we miss the deadline by weeks (costing my company between $6k-$8k in revenue), I have to now coordinate with a 3rd party & Ben thinks he's earned the remaining money I paid when no one touched my website for two weeks. Ben didn't even have the professional courtesy to respond when I expressed my displeasure with anything beyond "I'm driving from Utah to Florida, I need time to respond." That was 9 days ago. A full refund is in order, but I have zero expectations in this company to handle this professionally. RISE as a marketing service is also underwhelming. They offer absolutely nothing a company with a base understanding of ads couldn't do on their own. Zero segmentation, zero new ad copy, zero A/B testing, & they failed to set up on platforms he promised. All in all working with RISE has been the single biggest waste of time and money I've experienced since launching my business.

I am an admin for a small business that used RISE, and worked with Ben for several months. After about 2-3 months of working with Ben and providing him with all things he needed from us, we realized that none of the services promised to us were actually being done. We brought the issue up with Ben and he agreed and offered us a discounted invoice for the next month to give him another chance before cancelling our partnership with RISE. We agreed and continued for the next couple months with Ben, till we once again noticed services that were promised by the company were not being done/provided for us. We kindly asked Ben for an explanation and refund, in which we were met with unresponsive emails. My boss then wrote a negative google review and Ben then decided to respond via email with an agreement to refund her, even showing a dollar amount via a screenshot. It has now been over a month, with no refund, no responses to emails, and just completely ghosted us. Do not put your trust in this company it is all smoke and mirrors.
