In our present era, numerous individuals seek methods to save their time and energy. However, due to my age, I recall when people would go above and beyond merely because it was the right action to take for themselves and their patrons. Recently, I have had the pleasure of working with Kenny and Erica from Sagentic Web Design in Canon City, CO, who have been incredibly kind and helpful in taking care of our animal shelter's website. During a recent conversation with them, I informed them that our most significant fundraiser of the year, the Rescue Runway, was making a comeback. After hearing this, I noticed that both of them began brainstorming ideas. Soon after, they presented me with a comprehensive marketing and website plan for the Runway, which included a superb logo design created by Erica herself. Additionally, they provided key talking points, press releases, and so much more. One day, when I visited their office, Kenny invited me to his desk to showcase the brand-new Rescue Runway website, which displayed in-depth information about the event and even allowed attendees to purchase tickets online. To say that the website impressed me would be an understatement. Furthermore, I received positive feedback about the website from three people outside of our organization who were thrilled with the new Runway website. The remarkable aspect of this endeavor was that I didn't need to ask Erica or Kenny for any of this, as they had taken the initiative to do it all on their own. It was as if I was brought back in time to 1975, where people genuinely cared about their business and clients.
