I am not a customer but I would never give my money to or support this company, the co founders are traveling during a pandemic to party and are increasing the spread of covid to the locals. They have been seen not wearing masks and not properly quarentining as well. In additon they are not responding to criticism in a professional manner and are making up lies about the people who critique them as well as threatening them. There are better businesses than this one to support, such as Black owned businesses.

I am not a customer of theirs, but after seeing how they respond to criticism as a brand, I would advise against hiring them to help manage your own brand. They are incredibly unprofessional, rude, and dole out false accusations. The owners Sage and Devin accuse people who criticize them as having political agendas, but the negative reviews are simply pointing out the selfish and unprofessional behavior of the owners. Sorry you cannot handle the repercussions of your selfish and dangerous actions, but as "marketing" people, you should maybe learn how to address controversies a little more professionally. Also, Sage has no degree to back up being a marketing specialist. Look elsewhere for your brand's online needs.

not a customer but purely commenting on the lack of responsibility from the co-owners of this company. sage is travelling to vulnerable countries during the height of a pandemic with a group of friends (who have also been travelling all over the states and partying) and has been seen on crowded beaches without a mask. instead of responding to criticism professionally, he and devin have taken to making threats of defamation lawsuits and calling people “bots” with “personal political agendas”. this speaks for itself. this is not how you run a (successful) company. i would never give my business to a company that is so lacking in professionalism and empathy.

This review has to do with the unprofessionalism of the two founders of Serp Co, Sage Mauk and Devin Schumacher. Instead of responding to negative reviews politely, professionally, & with content the pair decides to threaten meritless legal action, accuse people of lying, & pretending people left negative reviews due to "political agendas." None of these are appropriate responses, especially for a business that is supposed to help other businesses & brands know how to maintain their brand, increase SEO, & represent themselves. If their services are indicative of how the two owners react so childishly while representing their OWN brand because they're upset that Mauk & his wife are being called out for selfishly traveling to Mexico during the pandemic, I would hate to see how they would represent their paying clients' brands. I would look elsewhere for help for your company's needs as these two need a lesson in professionalism & critical thinking. Edit: So the owners just responded to my 100% accurate review that the respond unprofessionally to critiques of themselves & their brand. Instead of addressing how immaturely they behave, they accused me of being fake, spreading a "political" agenda, & lying. None of which are true, but Sage & Devin, thanks for proving my point & showing prospective customers of Serp Co just how childish & unprofessional you guys are.

Absolutely awful company! The co-owner is traveling all over the world during COVID times and making fun of people who are expressing legitimate concerns. Support better people!
