Storyboard Films is an award winning video production company located in Minneapolis, MN. Our videos tell engaging stories by capturing great interviews and stunning images. We help organizations build their brand, promote their products, recruit top talent and raise money.
Storyboard Films is a video agency with heart. Our sweetspot is producing videos that are heartfelt and aspirational. Our clients are a good mix of corporate and nonprofit, big and small. What clients love about working with us is our ability to take their initial ideas and elevate them into a compelling story that engages a targeted audience. Our video production process is designed to be simple and straightforward. We ask a lot of questions, listen actively, then organize a client's thoughts into a clear video production gameplan. Here is a snapshot of our process: 1. Creative Consultation - We meet for 45 minutes to discuss video strategy, key messages and identify people/places/activities to appear in the video. 2. Video Blueprint - We organize thoughts and ideas into a simple scoping document that lays out a plan for the video and lists interview questions. 3. Scheduling & Shooting - Clients forward interview questions to participants and schedule shooting. We shoot interviews and gather additional footage on location. Interviews are designed to be casual and stimulate genuine conversation. 4. Client Delivery - An initial draft is provided on our video portal. Comments can be logged directly underneath the video. When revisions are complete, the video is available for download.

The Great North Innocence Project worked with Jeff and Alan to produce a client story video capturing the story of one of our wrongfully convicted clients. We're so appreciative of their work on this special video. They went above and beyond to find a shooting location that worked for our team and for our client that would feel comfortable, authentic, and was accessible to everyone. They took a story that can be difficult to tell because of the subject matter, complex medical and legal language, and uncertain ending to this story and created a video that captured it all in a way that was at once simple and nuanced. Their care for our mission to free the wrongfully convicted and for our client and staff attorney as subjects of this video was clear every step of the way. We highly recommend them to any nonprofit looking to partner with a team who will take great care in creating a video about your mission!

Storyboard created the most beautiful video for Family Achievement Foundation’s first video! Additionally, the process was wonderful and their genuine interest in our organization made filming easy. They pulled out our passion and pieced the story together beautifully!
