Storyboard Films is an award winning video production company located in Minneapolis, MN. Our videos tell engaging stories by capturing great interviews and stunning images. We help organizations build their brand, promote their products, recruit top talent and raise money.
Storyboard Films is a video agency with heart. Our sweetspot is producing videos that are heartfelt and aspirational. Our clients are a good mix of corporate and nonprofit, big and small. What clients love about working with us is our ability to take their initial ideas and elevate them into a compelling story that engages a targeted audience. Our video production process is designed to be simple and straightforward. We ask a lot of questions, listen actively, then organize a client's thoughts into a clear video production gameplan. Here is a snapshot of our process: 1. Creative Consultation - We meet for 45 minutes to discuss video strategy, key messages and identify people/places/activities to appear in the video. 2. Video Blueprint - We organize thoughts and ideas into a simple scoping document that lays out a plan for the video and lists interview questions. 3. Scheduling & Shooting - Clients forward interview questions to participants and schedule shooting. We shoot interviews and gather additional footage on location. Interviews are designed to be casual and stimulate genuine conversation. 4. Client Delivery - An initial draft is provided on our video portal. Comments can be logged directly underneath the video. When revisions are complete, the video is available for download.

Jeff and Storyboard are go-to partners in motivational storytelling for us. Jeff has an outstanding ability to take raw material or story ideas, capture the right footage in the right place(s), add just the right elements like music and additional images, and capture the heart of our stories in a visually compelling way. His video stories move people and motivate them to be supportive of our mission. In addition, he’s delightful to work with, incredibly even-keeled, responsive, and cost-conscious. This year, we were very late in reaching out to Jeff. Nevertheless, he agreed to take the raw footage we had (no time for him to even shoot professional footage), quickly understood the messaging needs, added in just the right elements, and turned it into a heartfelt, effective piece to share with our audience. We highly recommend working with Jeff and Storyboard.

Storyboard Films recently made four 1-minute promotional videos for my business Gryskiewicz Twin Cities Cosmetic Surgery. I was amazed at how beautiful each one turned out. The entire team truly created an amazing story with each video. The filming crew was punctual, creative and professional. I cannot wait to share these phenomenal videos on our marketing platforms.

Had an excellent experience with Storyboard Films! We hired them for an event at the RiverCentre to help capture our educational sessions and some b-roll for promo. They dove into our brief and were diligent in ensuring we were all on the same page. On-site, the team was very professional and had a driven attitude to capture all aspects of the event. After the event, their turnaround time was speedy, and they took our feedback and delivered some great final assets. Was an absolute pleasure to work with Allan and the whole team! Thanks again :)
