Studio B Films provides video production & motion graphics design & animation services, located in the San Francisco Bay Area. We are both a video production company and a creative agency all under one roof. Studio B Films is unique in that we offer creative services for video production. Typically, you work with a creative agency for your creative, and a video production company to actually make the video. We do both'and we do them both well.
The heart of what we do is storytelling. And we've been hard at work since 1993 when independent filmmaker David Collier founded Studio B Films. David knows that producing award-winning videos is a team sport so he pulled together an amazing group of producers, writers, directors, motion graphics artists, editors and music composers. We work closely with your marketing department to help launch your company's products and differentiate you from your competitors. Lots of video production companies make pretty pictures. While we believe that's important, the special sauce we bring is our creativity, storytelling and collaborative approach. As a creative partner, a big part of our job is understanding your customer's pain points and the decision-making process. We do more than just remove friction from the buying process. It's our mission to inspire and create an emotional connection. We guide our clients through the process from script writing and creative concepting through post production. Our first step is the discovery phase where our goal is to fully understand the objectives of the videos, the intended audience, and what will motivate and inspire that audience. During this phase we dive in to understand our clients company story, so that all of our messaging is in alignment with your brand. Producing compelling videos for our clients is of utmost importance, but the experience during the process is equally important. The team at Studio B films cares deeply about customer service. We build long-term relationships with our clients. Studio B Films is unique in that we offer creative services for video production. Typically, you work with a creative agency for your creative, and a video production company to actually make the video. We do both - based on our client's feedback, we do them well.

It was great working with Studio B---they are true professionals who guided us through the process and were so seamless to work with. Internal stakeholders were so impressed with the initial delivery that they repurposed the video for promotional efforts. Studio B followed an effective workflow while having patience with last-minute changes. Anyone who engages them can expect a high degree of professionalism and high quality production value. 10/10 Would (and have) worked with again, recommend to a friend, etc.

Studio B has been a great video partner for Waterhouse Brands. We are entering our third year of collaboration with them on multiple projects and have always been pleased by their partnership, flexibility, and excellent project management skills. In short, they deliver on time and on budget!

My company has worked with Studio B on two major projects and it was a seamless experience from beginning to end. From the moment we met with them, to casting calls, shoot days, and overall communication - I couldn't have asked for a better team. So, it was a no brainer to work with them the second time around. They are well organized, very professional, and always a great time. Though they are the experts, they always check in to see what you think, if you have questions or concerns. They always deliver and I absolutely love working with them. My favorite things: Their consistency, organization, and fun attitude Cons: I have yet to experience anything negative. Are they even human? lol Needless to say, I highly recommend Studio B.

Overall the experience was great, they supported us from the scripting phase through the casting, editing and final touches. They always gave us opportunities for feedback. Being on set with Studio B was a treat too, we felt like we were in Hollywood! They created some amazing animations for us that went above and beyond what we had hoped for. I would definitely recommend Studio B to anyone.

Have had the chance to work with Studio B on a half dozen videos and I'm always amazed at the end product. They are helpful throughout every part of the project, but I'm always stunned to see what they can do with raw footage to create such compelling story arcs. I love working with partners who are excellent what they do, but it's also a pleasure when you like working with them as well...that's the case with Studio B.
