The Creative Department is an innovative Cincinnati, Ohio advertising, branding and marketing ad agency providing traditional and interactive strategy, and management services.
The Creative Department is an advertising agency of pioneers, visionaries, brand builders, entrepreneurs and irrepressible thinkers. When we started in 1992, we were the first Cincinnati agency to be staffed entirely by creative people, without traditional account executives. (THAT one raised a bunch of eyebrows.) We embraced digital communication long before other traditional agencies in town. The truth is, we were just different. And while our industry has changed in profound and exciting ways over the past 25 years, our focus hasn't wavered. We're still an independent, creatively-driven advertising agency, developing the ideas that help businesses build unbreakable bonds with their consumers. We're driven by our desire to help our clients succeed. We're obsessed with results. So we work to understand what's next. We work to bring clients' brands decisively into the moment, through strategy, equity, messaging and engagement. Wherever and however this must happen.

We worked with Creative Department for rebranding across our three intertwining departments which have a shared mission of environmental protection yet specific areas of expertise. Creative Department did a wonderful job creating a branded family for us. We had some hiccups along the way and their team was very patient while we worked through unexpected changes.

The Brandery was looking for an agency to work with one of our startups that was the perfect combination of innovative and edgy. In only 12 weeks, Creative Department created a completely new brand identity, formalized branding and advertising, including brand promise and expression, brand guidelines, website design, copy, and recommended a campaign of communication touchpoints. Creative Department set up analytics tracking, website engagement, established conversion measurement, and performed a PPC campaign that currently has a 4% conversion rate. Creative Department delivered one of the most robust rebrands we’ve seen in the last 10 years of working with Cincinnati agencies. Their team and expertise is second to none and we will most definitely look to work with them again in the future.
