Solmarie Ramos and Andrea Lora handled my divorce case and did an amazing job at it! They are both very professional in their dealings not only with me but with the opposing counsel and the courts. Mike Fischer (and help from Andrea) at Fischer & Van Thiel represented me in my divorce. After firing my first attorney (I felt there was a lack of effort and caring), I searched/interviewed lawyers for someone to listen to what was happening and take action. Mike listened, and he has been divorced as well. Mike was able to explain the court processes, lay out a plan to achieve my goals, and focus on what matters. When it came to paperwork, Andrea helped tremendously by transcribing the important facts, responses and requests into well written and understandable legalese. Only a few of the contested divorce issues were agreed to in advance (an existing order was in place, but was not ideal). So when we finally had our day(s) in court (there is a lot of waiting in family law), Mike did a good job when responding to the opposing counsel, and he made a point to touch on the critical requests with the judge (like custody, phone call schedule, holidays, support, etc). Be careful with these people with how they charge you, my experience was extremely horrific.

NEVER!!!! Overcharged for no work plus interest. Use a paralegal and speak for yourself. I’m now in arbitration for the overcharged balance and they will not accept anything less than the entire balance due. DON’T USE THESE THIEVES! They were given one task to complete in my established divorce decree and didn't FAILED to complete the job after reassuring me they would!
