Awesome. Fun for all ages. Too much to see. We arrived at 1pm and left at 5pm, with the museum closing. In that time we explored Asian animals, visited the planetarium, spent some time in the insectarium, and crystals exhibitions. We finished the day by visiting the butterfly vivarium. We lived it all ! I think this is a tenth part of what the museum offers. We definitely need to come back a few times more.

We explored the history of mammals, ocean life and biodiversity sections! Our experience was nothing short of amazing! The unique thing was how they linked wild animals with beautiful national parks of America!! It just makes you feel you are right there with these animals!

Fun for both families and couples! There are Japanese maps and guides so you don't have to worry. Dinosaur fossils are impressive!

I appreciate your affection for the museum while acknowledging your disappointment over the removal of Teddy Roosevelt's statue. The love for a museum often stems from its ability to encapsulate history, providing a tangible connection to the past. However, the decision to remove the statue reflects a complex discourse on historical representation and societal values. While some argue that such removals are a response to addressing historical injustices and promoting inclusivity, others, like yourself, see it as a regrettable trend of erasing history. Teddy Roosevelt's statue likely held a significant place in the museum's narrative, symbolizing a specific era or set of values. The statement atop the building might now provoke contemplation on the evolving dynamics between historical preservation and contemporary sensitivities. It becomes a nuanced reflection on the challenges museums face in navigating the diverse perspectives within their audience. In the midst of this tension, the museum remains a space to appreciate the artifacts and narratives that endure. It is a reminder of the ongoing dialogue about how societies choose to represent their past, acknowledging both the cherished aspects and the complexities of history.

The museum is next to Central Park, where you can find exhibits on different ethnicities.
