Vote for your favorite local SEO blogs of 2015

Vote for your favorite local SEO blogs of 2015

What’s the best resource of local search news & updates?

For the last 2 years we’ve conducted a poll amongst our customers, readers & the local SEO community to find out which are the industry’s favorite local search blogs. Our aim is to compile an list of the best local search content & resources which are essential reading for anyone interested in local search.

Rather than a popularity contest, the purpose of the vote is to help curate an essential bookmark / reading list to help keep on top of the changes in the industry.

You can view the previous year’s results here:

In 2014,, were the 3 most popular choices. Do you have any new favorites for 2015? Let us know by voting from the short-list below.

Pick your favorite local SEO blogs:

The voting is now closed & results will be released shortly.

How have these blogs been picked?

The shortlist includes blogs that we regularly read ourselves at BrightLocal. In addition, we’ve added in those which featured heavily in the previous 2013 & 2014 votes, as long as they are still actively publishing Local Search content.

Why hasn’t “X” site been included?

If we’ve missed out one of your favorite sites, it’s either a harmless error (please let us know), or we’ve taken the decision not to include them as they haven’t published enough local SEO content throughout 2015.

Some of the sites that feature are not 100% local search focused, but still make the list because they regularly publish enough local content to warrant inclusion.

  1. Hi, there! Big fan of Bright Local and lots of others on this list. I would suggest to also include Brandify’s blog within here. They keep it topped up with industry-related blogs as well!

  2. One more thing, Ross. I was simply checking and observed that anyone can vote twice after voting for the first time. Isn’t this flawed? I didn’t go further, but I think I can check and vote more than once.

  3. So many wonderful blogs and you limited the voters to 3. This ain’t fair, Ross. Do you even know the feeling I had while voting? Who to pick, who to pick? 😀

This is the very first time I’ve participated in Brightlocal’s annual voting. Eager to see the results of the voting. 🙂 And, great list.

    1. Thanks for voting Ajay. 3 is tough i know!

      – ps. we can remove any duplicate votes once we’ve downloaded the results, so don’t worry about that.

  4. Hi Ross

The above sites are somewhat of the top local marketing websites online. I read a good number of them also. Can’t tell you how much more I have learned from these authority platforms.

By saying that I will just like to suggest my own personal “Local SEO Marketing” website.

    Coleman Marketing Group LLC

I’m a long life marketer online, and will like to get my brand out there to a bigger audience. One of the best places to start is Brightlocal.
